I had charged the scooter up on Sunday. So yesterday morning I was out the door at 9:30. I stopped at Fry’s pharmacy and got the booster. Even after sitting for the required fifteen minutes afterward, I was back on the scooter at 10:05. I went to the library and downloaded the final forms I needed. And then it was back to Fry’s at the new credit union they’d built in the parking lot. The notary was in and he got right to work. The Medical Directive, the Power of Attorney, the Last Will and Testament, and the form my credit union wanted to name Daughter as beneficiary to all my accounts that I’ll put in the mail.

I was home at 11:30. I ate lunch and then went to the pool for a couple of hours. 70 degrees. Just perfect.

Now I’ve got nothing on the “to do” list until the 8th of February when I go get all those medical tests done.

Oh, I guess I can go to Turbo Tax again and see what happens. Last year didn’t go through so I guess I could backtrack a bit. I heard on NPR that the IRS is still working on returns from 2019.

I can’t remember the last time I’d filed. Maybe 2010? Yeah, that’s the year the 99 weeks of unemployment ran out after the last financial meltdown.

The 5.9% COLA came through for my S.S.

Here it is Tuesday evening and my arm still hurts. That’s about it for side effects though.

My new phone isn’t getting 5G here at the house. I guess I’m too close to the airport. Hopefully they’ll get that SNAFU figured out.
