Since April 25. Last night we were supposed to go look at a house. But I forgot I had this "business bowling" thing I had to go to. I actually had fun, it wasn't terribly awkward and isolating like most work functions are. I think it had something to do with the fact that when we went to order supper the branch manager just plopped herself down next to me (she was wearing a mangy tshirt, grey knit shorts and flip flops, btw) and everyone got a chance to talk a little bit - it wasn't just dominated by one or two people. I watched my skinny ass coworker drink like 5 beers. I drank about 1.5. Then about 4 glasses of water and ate food. I was nervous about driving myself but I didn't feel buzzed in the least bit. When Skinny Ass decided she could drive home I stopped her. Oh my god. She wasn't very happy with me so I just tried to avoid getting tased by her pink taser while I took her home. This cop shit is really starting to rub off on me.

I'm not sure if it's my job, or just growing up, or what but stuff I used to brush off (like that) really bothers me. Maybe after the last time I tried to drink my face off and ended up cleaning puke out of my sisters car I decided I'm not a spring chicken anymore and I just can't do that crap anymore. And I'm not sad about it.

In other news, I'm going to Watertown next Thursday to visit the fam. Then that Sunday I have off, but I have to head to LET in Pierre in the evening so I will probably just spend the day with Nate.

The working out is still going well. I still haven't added running to the routine, since this is the first consistently nice week we've had, well, all year. School is out and the pools are getting ready to open and up until last weekend we hadn't had more than a day or two above 60 degrees. A few of my friends are doing the "couch to 5K" thing, which might be a good start. I think I'll progress through it faster than most since I've always been a good runner. But it has been a lot of years since I have done a considerable amount of running, so who knows. I've been working out consistently, and I've been feeling and noticing results. I'm working on cleaning up my eating a bit too, since I really think that will help show more results faster. Nothing fancy, just cutting down fast food, processed food, and trying to cut down the soda consumption to about 1 can a day.

one time i went to big day out on acid (no alcohol) and ended up puking in this guy's car... he didn't make me clean it out, though, and i was dishonorable at the time, so i didn't offer. :/

You did the right thing, yo. Ugh, drunk driving is BEYOND me. I can barely drive SOBER, I can't imagine doing it drunk.

You drink more than one can of pop a day?! I can't even finish one!

I'm starting the C25K program myself. Not skipping ahead though, I tried that last year and really f'd up my knee. Now I have 2 scars on it, but hey girls dig scars right?
