appointment results and good part time mom in Second 1st

So after the appointment we got some grub. I know it was high in salt but it was pretty healthy otherwise. It was a nice Country buffet where I had a beautiful salad and mostly veggies and some fish. We got home and we napped. It’s been about an hour and a half and I’m up now to tell you how it went.

After going over a few things I’d put in the lists the doctor presented PPPD as the cause. You may recall that’s what the Vestibular Therapist said back in Sept. 2019. He then stated that it was out of his scope to diagnose anything and that I really needed to work with the neurologist.... as if I don’t know that. I’d explained the difficulty in getting an appointment and that I basically needed him to create a stop gap until I could see the Neuro again. They are filling out the FMLA paperwork and the assistant said she’d have it out this afternoon. I am unsure what he has put on there as I asked about short term disability and he said he’d try but it all depends on what will be approved. I’ll call the FMLA people tomorrow.

I stopped here for a moment and called the sleep apnea place about the dental appliance. I was to make the appointment with the Neuro 2 months after getting something to help with the sleep issues. I got a letter from the insurance company saying that them paying for the dental appliance had been approved and I wanted to be sure that the sleep apnea place had gotten it … and to ask how long till they got the appliance. She’d asked if I could take a picture and send it to her email.... I did. She also said.... and then looked up my info and found it had been sent off and they should have it before they are off for 2 weeks. She did not give me a date and I’m assuming that the 2 weeks is for Christmas/ New Years.

Destiny called just after that and I talked to her about FMLA situation and not being able to do my damn job Sunday. I got off the phone with her and Gabby called. She’s going to have her first OBGYN appointment and is a bit scared. She’s afraid it will hurt. I used that damn deep nasal COVID test to compare it to. It doesn’t hurt as much as that test but it’s similar. I stressed the importance of keeping an eye on the health of her lady parts. She is 16 and has not yet had her first period. The people who had her before Destiny got her back had somehow lied there way into getting an IUD put in before she’d even started having a cycle.... so I’m sure she’s all messed up. It was a good talk. Afterwards she’d said she felt better and that I was like a second mom. It’s a good thing to hear being 600+ miles away.... and not wanting actual children of my own.

I tried to wake Rocky.... took a good hour to get him up from our nap. My nap was an hour and half ish and his was nearly 4 hours. ....

I called the neurologist and can’t get an appointment till April 13th (10:40) so.... there’s that. .... Hopefully the stop gap ENT visit will cover that far. He want’s to see me again in 4 months.... March 23rd (8:20)

Tomorrow I’ll call the FMLA chick to see if she got the papers from Lisa Adams about FMLA from Watford.... and the new ones from… Simpson? and explain to her what I’d done and why. Then, let her know I’m supposed to work Wednesday and ask her advise on if I should go or not. I don’t know what the papers say so if she can advise based on what the papers say from Simpson.... if it’s intermittent or short term.... Otherwise, if she can’t then I will continue to work until I find out what I’m approved for.
