So yeah. in A small but passable life.

I finished reading "The Girl With A Clock For A Heart" by Peter Swanson early yesterday. I took a notebook over to the patio at Panera and sat and wrote about three pages before sunset. A good day.

And last night I found an email from the library saying book eleven of the "Wheel of Time" series was waiting for me to pick up.

So this morning I was up and out fairly early, walking to the library. I say early, but that branch doesn't open until 9:30am. There was no need to leave until after 9am.

I sat at the library long enough to read the local paper.

When I got back to the van and after a bowl of cereal I took the book over to the patio and sat and got a pretty good start on the book.

A thunderstorm was moving in so I decided to sit in the van and wait for it. It was probably only ten or fifteen minutes before the storm and rain arrived. I closed all the windows and laid down for a nap. When I fell asleep it was still raining. When I woke up the van was a lot cooler so I just opened up all the windows and after a sandwich I picked the book back up. A good day.

I haven't got an email from the daughter yet, letting me know for sure what is going on with the move. I'm sure she's been busy. She's got a little over five hundred books to pack up. Before I get an email she just may show up with a U-Haul truck. That would be just like her.

So yeah, I'll sit and read for a bit.
