Sunday was a hot and humid day. Sunday night was very warm and humid. Monday started out the same.
Jassy and Clayton showed up about noon Monday. He had a second interview for that job. Jassy and I visited while he did that. Afterwards we went to Panera and sat and talked until they had to go.
A thunderstorm moved in about 5pm. By 6pm it didn't look like the rain was going to stop anytime soon so I laid down for a nap. I ended up sleeping for three hours.
Yesterday morning I woke up to rain. No need to get up, and I didn't, until 1pm. Instead of the eighties in the van like it'd been for the previous two days it was only 57 degrees. I packed up and went over to the student union to read.
Jassy found me online last night and said that Clayton had got the job. He'll be starting the first week in June. So, it looks like they will finally be moving to the city.
And this morning I woke up to rain once again. I decided to go back to sleep. And I did that all day long until I finally got out of bed at 5pm. A sandwich for supper and then I came over to Hardee's.
It was only 52 degrees today. Crazy. It is supposed to start warming up again tomorrow. This is good sleeping weather but a person can only sleep so much. Hopefully tomorrow I can get up at a decent hour and sit in the van and read. The prediction is for 62 degrees and a 40% chance of rain so we'll see.
I'm still slogging through book ten of that series. Only four more books after this and then I can say I've read all one million words.
