Well, that was fast. in Whey and Sonic Screwdrivers.

Filled out an online application Friday.

Get an email Saturday morning to do an online video recorded interview. Gave myself the day to prepare.

Finished/submitted the video interviews by 5pm Sunday.

Got a callback this morning around 9:45am. Took a deep breath, called back. They verified my availability, said they’d send a conditional offer to me, and to come in on Thursday at 11am.

I think after working at the Bell all those years ago, it makes sense I’d be so “I don’t know how to get a job”. After all, I had no experience applying! Panera and ‘Bell, I pretty much got hired on the spot by talking to a manager. Whereas almost every application since has been online. Some more annoying than others.

Makes me feel “Well, if I don’t like THIS job, I can just get a DIFFERENT one” with a little more confidence.

Maybe someday I’ll stop doubting my self-worth. ; )
