booked my flight in Second 1st

I just sent Destiny a text “If you were ever worried that for some reason I wouldn’t make it to your wedding know that I just purchased my ticket”

Yesterday I’d gotten an email saying the price had gone up by $10. I figure it only goes up from here right? It was $99.... well… economy was 99.... I have lots of worries concerning the noise, space and if I have to throw up .... and if I get bad vertigo… and.... I just paid for the best so I’ll have as little to worry about as possible. I’ll be in the second row with my deaf ear to the sky. Being able to see outside is a risk but.... I should have it if I want it and it’s available. I spent $280 total. I’d spent $27 on insurance in case something out of my control happens I can get a refund and just drive up with Rocky a week later.

I’ve only ever flown once before.... almost 20 years ago now.... to the same location. Back long before Meniere’s and I was a good 100 lbs. lighter. I’ll be nervous and if we can’t get this dizziness under control I’ll likely be dizzy. So I opted for First class so I could board before others and not be crowded also having more help from attendants if I need it.

I know Rocky’s not going to be all that happy about how much I spent but.... we get paid in 2 days.. all the bills are covered this week and we already bought groceries. Also, it leaves $180 in the bank if he wants to go grab burgers or needs gas.... and this is after dropping the $1000 on the A/C. Not to mention booking this far ahead will be way cheaper than waiting till the A/C is paid! So.... I win… I’m right and there is no denying it. Except do I need First class?

Too late now lol. I bought it already. He won’t be with me if I have a bad attack because of the pressure changes I’ll have to rely on my wallet.... I’m sure I’ll get better care/service with the more expensive ticket.... also, I can take on 2 bags +carry on so I’ll be able to take more than enough cloths and stuff.... I might be able to pack the wedding gear so he won’t have to worry (probably not though because I trust Rocky to not forget it more than the airline to not lose it).

Obviously, I’m overly excited. It’s not till May24th lol I also wrote out the info and put it on a post it note and put it above my computer. Printed the receipt and put it in “the pile of important papers” and moved the receipt email to a folder I have marked as “need” (it’s for receipts and delivery info in stuff that I bought). Then in case I forget any of that.... it’s here :) lol
