is great. But first, the complaints.
I have poison ivy and it’s itchy and stingy as fuck. My mind is often confused as to what I want to do, what I am doing, and why any of it is happening. I worry about paying for stuff since DH quit and is getting a new job starting out much lower than what he was being paid (although opportunity is huge).
Now for the good stuff. We have a steady flow of “passive income” -honestly tho it shouldn’t be called passive, it’s a ton of work to keep up with- we’ve got rabbits, potatoes and onions and a shit ton of butter to stave off the upcoming food shortage, we just had all the windows replaced and our old ass farm house looks amazing now, and I just got a tiny venus fly trap plant in the mail. Also books.
I am seriously considering starting a small houseplant propagation operation and selling them. Most plants are easily grown from cuttings, which for most house plants, taking cuttings from new growth is beneficial for their mostly slow-growing habits. Idk, though. I just got the rabbits and can already tell that the overhead is more than I previously anticipated. I just have the 2 jr does rn, but that will change. I had been planning on only 4 hutches, but I recently saw and read about the utility and ease of having 6 for just a breeding trio that it almost seems necessary, now. So I think I’ll start planning for that anyways.
I’d really like a fence as well. We have a corner lot, now. No garage, and a lot of… crap. Less crap than we used to have for sure. But it just sort of seems to accumulate no matter the effort I take to keep it clear. It is at least easy enough to set stuff by the road and have the garbage pickers come pick it up. lol
