The quintessential Facebook Like button in Site Updates

It's on here. Like it or lump it.
EDIT: Granted, being a smaller community FB isn't the greatest option if you place a high value on anonymity. If it was huge and you were just one in thousands who like Prosebox on FB, it would probably be different. Just thought I'd throw that out there. But there are people who like having the option, so there it is.
And no, it's not the cool feature where you like different things on PB. That's something else entirely.

For those of us who still value anonymity, is it possible to have a Facebook profile and never once indicate we are on PB?
simple mind Nash ⋅ September 28, 2013
Not exactly sure what you mean but... liking PB on Facebook is still optional. If you do like it, it's added to your Facebook feed and shows as an interest, but otherwise does not link your FB account to your PB account in any way. Hope that helps.

But of course FB is not the least bit anonymous, so your real name would show in the PB user list on FB.

Which is why I haven't "liked" PB on FB. I just don't need people knowing I'm here, however sporadically. ;)
Nash simple mind ⋅ September 28, 2013
Thanks, that is what I meant. I just want to be able to move through social media and have the option of remaining anonymous on PB or OD. I have an FB account, but it has not been active in years and I do not particularly like the site, but if I were to rejuvenate it I wanted to make sure I could keep my PB activities separate. I am admittedly unfamiliar with that type of media and I just wanted to make sure that I still have some power over Nash remaining independent from my real identity.

Oh. I had thought it would be a way to like someone's entry here at PB and not really have anything to do with the dreaded FB. Bummer, my bad.
Deleted user Lyn ⋅ September 28, 2013
I thought the same thing.
cricket_factor Lyn ⋅ September 28, 2013
YES. That's what I thought it was, AS WELL.

so people can link their fb with here? =/
Cat Mommy I need tea. ⋅ September 28, 2013
No. Prosebox has an FB page now you can "like" it from Prosebox instead of having to search on Facebook.
simple mind I need tea. ⋅ September 28, 2013
It's still optional. I've set up the Prosebox website page on FB as an extra resource. Granted, if PB is in your list of Facebook interests, people could probably figure out you are on PB.
