More rain! in A small but passable life.

I finished reading “A Renegade History of the United States” by Thaddeus Russell. That makes nine books read so far this year. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in US history. It explains a lot as far as cause and effect goes.
Monday morning was cloudy and cooler so I got out the pressure washer and washed the other half of the trailer. Tuesday morning I woke to the sound of rain. It rained on and off for most of the day and ended up being 3/4 inch. And again on Wednesday morning, adding another 1/2 inch. I think with the July four inches or so it gets us on track for a normal monsoon.
The scooter now has 188 miles on the odometer. I just plugged it in to charge, at 55%. This should be the fifth or final charge at 50% to full and then “float charge” for four hours to “calibrate” the battery. After this charge I can charge it after every trip or whenever I get around to it. And being a 60 volt lithium battery it should be good for thousands of charge cycles.
So yeah, that’s all I’ve got.
Be well my friends. And try to avoid stupid people. It seems like they’re coming out of the woodwork in droves now.
