Timmy's Birthday Party in In the Meadow

Timmy's birthday party was on Sunday. Now that he's twelve this may be his last birthday party, so we tried to enjoy it as much as we could. He had his party at a local miniature golf course and arcade. Timmy had seven friends there. The kids each had pizza and a soft drink or juice. They played miniature golf. They were more interested in having fun than following the rules of the game. The kids also played arcade games. The boys liked the action games. I guess at this age it is all about warriors. Timmy got presents of board games and video games, as well as a squirt gun.

For dinner that night we had Timmy's favorite of barbequed chicken and mashed potatoes. We went out for ice cream afterward. Timmy had his party on the twins' actual birthday. Kayla is having her birthday party this Saturday. We had a family party with cake and ice cream this past Saturday night. The twins opened their presents from us. The twins each got a new bicycle. Now that they are twelve we wanted them to have bikes that they could handle on their own as safely as possible. They also got some outdoor toys, as well as books.
