I realised last night whilst cross-posting OD entries, that they are probably all showing as updates on other people's prosebox accounts lol! Whoops. I do apologise if they are showing up as updates. I've decided I'm just going to do a few at a time and hopefully I'll get through them eventually. Fuckload to go though.
My problem is, after I re-post and back-date them here, I tend to re-read them. At first, it didn't bother me so much, but man, after that last lot I re-read through, I couldn't believe the memories it brought up! The last two nights, I haven't gone to bed before 6:30am. Crazy! I haven't been up that late in ages. I guess it's kind of cool reading what my life was back then compared to how it is now. I was a completely different person! I believed in love. I wasn't jaded haha!
I guess 2005 was one of the biggest years of my life, reading back, but each year has it's pros and cons and I'll probably think the same thing as I read on. I've had a pretty cool and crazy life so far, and I really can't complain too much.
Last night, the Eurovision Song Contest was on. Anyone who knows me knows I try to never miss it haha. I was even watching it during those 2005 entries! I went and got snacks from the 7 Eleven and set it all up when I got home :P I just love it. Vish and James arrived about a quarter of the way into it. Vish was laughing at the set-up in the lounge I had going on - I'd moved the lounge and set the table up with all my snacks and had already smashed my way through a pie before they'd even arrived. I kept messaging them saying "I can't believe you're missing this".
Anyway, when they arrived, they had food and weren't even really watching the TV, wheras I was glued to it. I didn't even what they were saying, I'm that into Eurovision haha.
It was one of the best Eurovisions I've seen in a while. Of course, Vish and James kne who the winner was, as it's pretty much impossible to avoid the spoilers, as it isn't broadcast here live unfortunately. Gays especially just CANNOT help themselves and have to post, tweet etc and it doesn't help every news station spoils it.
I however, did pretty well. I know this happens every year, and I gave myself a TV-ban just in case I saw the topic come up. I intended to give myself a facebook ban also, but just managed to quickly scroll past anything even remotely related to the word 'Eurovision' haha. I had a pretty good idea who was going to win though, and who I wanted to win. I was right, of course. I wanted Sweden to win (as usual), but Austria did, with a transgendered bearded lady haha. She was so CUTE!
Of course, since the winner was announced, some Russian wankers have been up in arms about it. I felt sorry for the Russian twins who performed in Eurovision, as they got boo'd. Russia was also boo'd every time the name of their country was announced. That was to be expected I guess. The male host of the show made a bad joke during the broadcast saying, "The Russian twins have tried to take over the Ukrainian's dressing room." "Ooooo" I said. Of course, James and Vish hadn't heard what was said, as they talk constantly. They were going to leave before the voting had even started, but I made them stay haha. They said they enjoyed it. It was a good show I feel. One of the best I've seen in a few years. I like when the voting is close, and there isn't a standout performer that outshines everyone else.
Last night I went and hooked up with this guy who was staying in the real dodgy hotel near my place. At first, I didn't even bother with going over, but since I was up real late, I decided 'why not' and he met me outside his hotel. I don't think I've ever been in that hotel, but it was really small. He was up from Sydney for his mates birthday party and (I found out) was still awake as he was still pinging on ecstasy haha. I wasn't even really that horny, but it turned out he was pretty sure. His pics he sent to me of him were him with very short hair, but this guy had luscious locks and a baby-face. Can't have been more than 21. Anyway, he just wanted to give a BJ and a cuddle. I think I offended him though. After I was done, I said to him, "You did a good job." He laughed and said to me, "That is the WORST thing you can possibly say to someone. 'Suck my dick, and good job'" he mimicked me haha. I replied, "It's better than me saying you did a bad job, right?" He goes, "At least then, I'd know I did a bad job", or something like that. It didn't even really make sense. It seemed more like something someone would say if they weren't that confident, maybe? I dunno. I didn't think much of it. I gave him a quick cuddle before I left, as that's what he wanted. He said he was probably going to be up for ages. I said, "Cool, I'm going home to bed." Pretty bad, walking home at 7am when the sun is up and bright and I haven't even crawled into bed yet. I guess that makes sense why I was up so late last night as well, since I'd woken up so late that day anyway. I literally only saw about 3 hours of sunlight. I do hate that. The rare days that I do wake up in the mornings are a massive blessing to me. The only bad thing about them is if I have to work and I'm normally exhausted by the time the time to work arrives.
I figured I'd write something current, as I've still got an hour until work, and it's not like I'm doing much productive anyway.
I'm liking the new housemate, still. He seems very genuine. I'm still a little shy around him though, I think. He keeps to himself a fair bit, but isn't a complete recluse like Aiden was. I guess I do the same. I just always want to get along with the new housemates, and sometimes feel like I think about it too much and try too hard. Even now, I still need to learn to just be the natural me, and hopefully others will like me, for me.
