Nigel Farage blasts Eurovision ‘prejudice’ against UK, of course it could be the that some counties vote for their neighbours, but Nigel will stick with what suits his rank political aims. To say they are prejudice to Britain in particular, is the view of one with a morbid prejudice towards Europe, rather than facing it affects most of Western Europe!
To understand Nigel Farage you don’t need to listen to him, you judge him by his company!

I wasn't aware they are still doing Eurovision contests until I saw mention of it on our tv last evening. The politics of it are ridiculous. hugs p

It's not even as though the Eurovision Song Contest as an EU thing. It's open for all countries of Europe regardless of whether or not they're in the EU. So it seems a bit odd (even by his standards) to use it to make an anti-EU point.

I've been baffled by a FB friend, who is actually the woman we've stayed with twice in London, posing approving posts about UKIP and Nigel Firage. She seems very liberal in most other ways and although I don't know much about UKIP, what I've read makes them sound very much like our conservative-to-the-point-of-insanity Tea Party. Of course I think our right-wingers are so far right that everyone elses' right is more like our moderates. I think her issue is more with the European Union making rules that the UK has to follow... maybe??? And immigration. It seems strange to me, though, considering how openminded she is.
