Lost Something in Help Me Please

No I haven’t lost my sanity, at least not yet. But I have lost 6 pounds and I can sort of see a small difference. Especially how my underwear fits. And the roll I have on my stomach is slowly going down so i am on the right track for my journey. But just remember this is only week one and I have a long way to go before I am at goal.
It’s a good thing that I like most fruits and vegetables plain or I would probably starve to death. And as long as I stay away from the chips and cookies and any other baked goods I will loose this weight in no time. I am thinking by Christmas I will be at my goal so it’s something to strive for. If I don’t get there then there is always Hubby’s Birthday.
I heard something interesting yesterday and that is people shouldn’t be drinking anything that has sugar in it because the sugar content is always higher then eating the actual thing. Like chocolate. And also it’s a lot better to be eating the actual thing because your stomach has to work harder to digest it and you also feel much fuller. So it’s much better to be eating broccoli and cauliflower and carrots then making them into a type of juice or energy drink.
When I went grocery shopping the other day I walked down the isle where the chips were and I just waved hi to them and continued on my way. I even said sorry to them. But with out the chips and cookies and other goodies I like the end result was only $80.00 so that is not too bad.
It seems to me that my grocery bill is a bit more because I am not getting high calorie stuff and it seems like when you buy things that have no sugar in them it always costs more. You would think that it would be less because it’s not there and should add to the price.
Onto something else.....
Hubby’s shoulder is much better and he can move it more and a little bit higher towards over his head so that is good. He says he isn’t in so much pain and he can sleep a lot more comfortably and seems to not be waking up every 2 hours like the first few nights. And he can do all of his work so he is on the mend.
So maybe another week and then he shoukd be back to his old self.
Onto something else.....
Waking up at 5:30 am really sucks so I am going to stop here and go have asleep to play catch up....
