There are three Amandas at work. The two I know are in their early twenties. I asked one if she knew the Waylon Jennings song and she said she was named for it. Then she quoted me the lyrics -
Amanda, light of my life
Fate should have made you a gentleman's wife
What would Waylon think?
He'd be flattered.
