Happy Mother's Day to US mothers - do you make apple pies as part of the American myth? It was odd to watch the Eurovision Song Contest in Spain for a change - amazed by some vey odd songs - Poland seemed to have one concentrating in a woman's breasts - and most on English - and oddest that a bearded drag queen from Austria would win hands down - Austria always seems a conservative country. Not something for the mums of America. Hot again today - so out on our bikes

I've been known to make a mean pumpkin pie around Thanksgiving, but that's about it. Thanks to the movie American Pie, its kinda hard to think about Apple pie in any innocent kind of way. haha
