This is one of his first books, so although it has an interesting, convoluted story line, it is not as polished and gripping as his later books.

The president, his daughter, drugs, FBI, false leads, the twists and turns inside the White House, and romance.

There's a bit of a surprise at the end, but this is not the same quality as his later books.
