Outings in A Day in the Life of Me

Well, today I left the house not once but twice!
T was over yesterday and mentioned needing to do some running around today, so I offered to go with. So we stopped by the dealership for paperwork for the new car ( had to trade in their more expensive one in order to do a mortgage on a new home), but they were closed. Hit the Dollarama so I could look for a craft related item (complete bust) then we hit the grocery store.
She stayed over for a bit after as the runs didn’t take long.
Then after she left D decided he wanted to go out for a bike ride. Be the first one in a few months.
We ended up being out just over and hour and a half.
Tomorrow morning I am going on a cleaning job with Boss Lady, so out the house again for a few hours.
I did manage to do two little plastic canvas projects done this weekend! One was a quick whip up of a box for my new extra camera batteries that I finally got.. they pieces used were cast-offs from a project that had mess ups, so I just cut strips for the sides, bottom, and a lid, then ( cause they were already stitched) I added in some rough lettering. So one side says “I shoot things” and the other says “Extra ammo” lol then last night I started a Birdhouse trinket box. Finished it this morning, sold it this afternoon lol.
Hunting for some specific pieces now that I can’t get here, but holy hell trying to order stateside is ridiculous!!! The shipping costs alone end up being just as much as the item, if not more… So like $25 worth of what I’m looking for is $25-30 in shipping…
I’d never be able to sell what i make at a cost to make it back.
Ridiculous!
