A thing of beauty is a joy forever.
John Keats
Blessed are they who see beautiful things in humble places where other people see nothing.
Camille Pissaro
The “mundane” and beautiful “ordinary” things in life that we pass every day are what captivate me most as I wander daily along the same paths in the same parks and neighborhoods. There’s never an occasion when I don’t see something that is beautiful in a hidden way.
Beauty does lie in the eye of the beholder.

Take a walk with a child one day. They will stop you and point out the most amazing sights, right under your eyes. :)

Absolutely true. It’s a mind-boggling experience!

And you capture that beauty so well!

yes I understand this well.....in fact I think there is really nothing actually 'ordinary' even when seemingly bland, common or uninteresting. AS a childhood song goes "everything is beautiful in it own way". Obviously Keats also knew that.

The plants growing out of the stone--what a metaphor for 2021.

Yes, exactly. Survivors. It might be a crack in a wall or in the pavement. Life forms in all varieties are resilient.
