Trash talk in Second 1st

I try. I read my “latest entry” in order to orient myself. The getting of the Xbox did not halt progress. Apparently he’d gotten a game that had been compatible with the system he already had. I guess that’s a thing now.... forward compatible? .... he said it just lacked the graphics but he’d been playing it.

He’s planning on going to a job fair the 12th. He’s printed out like 30 resumes..... I can’t wait.....

I’ve been hard core working MTurk.... first to pay a $316 Dr. Bill for a freaking Zoom meeting .... and some lab bill for something Rocky had done that was like $22. Now I’m on a tight schedule to get our first $358 payment together by the 12th. It will be fine.... it will all be okay.....

I got a bonus at work this year. It’s slowly being sucked up by bills but it’s going to get better soon. Rocky’s going to get back to work and I’m going back to weekends the 16th....

I feel like there was so much more to say but I’m at a bit of a loss..... it’s been a rough day....

Found out that apparently I completely forgot to pay for trash pick up..... you’d think that wouldn’t be a problem.... it’s $22 a month and it’s a luxury tax.... we can just take the trash ourselves....

Except somehow .... because I would pay them in large chunks (like 6 months at a time) .... I thought our next bill was due this month. So I called they said I hadn’t paid since before April. I said Ï’ll have to call you back I’ll get the bills together cause that can’t be right.”.....after I’d gone through the drawer of paid bills I keep..... and I couldn’t find one paid .... not since July of last year..... I had Rocky call today to give them the 110 I’d owe?.... and they confirmed I’d not paid since July of last year..... Now aside from kicking myself in the ass and wondering how in the hell I forgot.... for a year???? ..... well....

What kind of place gives services to someone who hasn’t paid for said services in a year? .... I would think that after 2 months I’d get a letter saying “Hey, you should pay us”..... then after 4 they just take the trash can.... Then I would freak out after not reading the “Hey” letter.... thinking someone stole the trash can and calling them asking for another. At which point they would inform me they took it .... I’d apologize and pay up and all would be back to normal..... no.... instead I own 300 something.... and they are still picking up my trash on Friday....

They see it as kind and I see it as scheming. I will pay up over the next couple months (really I’ll pay up as soon as Rocky gets back to work so I’m more confident about what’s in the bank now) and then I’ll be switching companies. I should be held responsible for not paying and .... well I’m honestly ticked about it. .... Like there’s not enough on my plate....
