I found a cobbler recipe and tweeked it to my liking!! So now im sharing ( without 20 paragraphs about where i was born and how i found cooking)

Preheat oven to 350

8 Ripe White peaches, or 4 cups of fruit.
Peel and finely slice fruit and put in a pan. (if using berries, just pour in!)
1/2 cup pure brown cane sugar ( or dark brown sugar)
If your fruit is very ripe, a dash of lemon juice or salt.

Put on low heat and allow to warm up and melt the sugar. I left it on low while i mixed my cobbler topping in the kitchen aide.

Cobbler topping.
6 tablespoons butter ( i melted mine for easier mixing)
2 cups flour.
3/4 cup whole milk.
1 cup brown cane sugar.
2 teaspoons baking powder
dash of salt ( i use pink sea salt)
a dash of nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves.

Mix together till a thick batter forms.

Pour fruit into a 9x13 baking dish. Top with globs of cobbler topping. I smooth mine out for a even crust.

Bake at 350 for 35 minutes or until topping is done.

I made this today with white peaches and mixed berries ( blue black and strawberries) im obsessed!!

I use pure brown ( with molasses) cane sugar with no additives and fresh local milk and eggs in my baking ( and daily life) I find it makes everything taste SO much better. But as long as the ingredients get in there. Its nom!! This recipe worked for me at high altitude :D
