Thank God that week's over! I feel like I'm about to collapse, glad i'm sitting in this chair! Gunna go over to a mate's and watch a video or two. I had the choice of going back to Strathy again but nah i'll take video's over a healing seminar any day.
We had 2 new managers this week. Our boss probably won't come back - he was going to come into work on Thursday and be re-introduced to us all (i nearly burst out laughing when i heard that, but then felt bad as I guess he couldn't help not remembering us all), but he only made it as far as the carpark outside work. He wouldn't go any further, it was as though something bad must have happened to him in the carpark after work and it triggered his memory. So anyway I didn't get to see him, was too busy, and was told this later. Our new manager might be this new guy we have now, he's not too bad, seems a little serious at times, but he always asks me what I think is best before he suggests anything, which is nice.
Hmmm to go to Sexpo on the weekend or not..that is the question. I think a few friends are going, so i might. I'm not a bad person or anything, it's really quite interesting when you stray from the Badgirls booth and the strippers on stage. It's a Healthy lifestyle exhitibition which I actually think is a good idea. Instead of letting people roam around getting STI's and stuff, they let citizens know the pro's and con's of having a healthy lifestyle, while having fun and laughs. I went last year with a mate from high school. He ran into a few people he knew there, of all places! It doesn't really offer a whole lot for me, mainly for the mainsteam sexual preferences, so it was a bit of a let-down, but I wonder if they've changed anything. I doubt it, as some stereotypes would protest no doubt. I thought this was a free country?
wow $29 one-way flights from May?! Now I've never been on a plane before but even to me this sounds amazing. I heard on the news that the virgin-blue site had over 70,000 hits yesterday, so if you want a cheap flight you better hurry! Pity I'm taking my flight in April, a little bit early.
Does anyone actually believe in horoscopes? I don't believe in them as a part of my religious beliefs, but you've got to explore the options in life don't you? This morning mine read 'Silence is golden' (to put it briefly), and whenever i tried to talk today, my words would come out in a complete mumble, as though I couldn't speak clearly, as though I felt nervous/uneasy to talk? My workmate's had to get me to repeat my sentences! Last week it told me to stay away from disco lights, and I did, but only because the horoscope had said to, not because I wanted to. I think I let things get to me too much, maybe I'm gullible to psychic's.
Hope this weekend's not as bad as the last, I bought one of those heat-relievers from the markets and wore it all day. The lady said it was the first time they've ever had to use iced-water. I bought a bright pink one (hot pink). I overheard one lady say "wow a man in pink, that's different" which made me smile. I really don't mind what people think of me; we're all judgemental at some point in our lives, including me.
Let's see what the weekend brings, hopefully fun-fun-fun!
Notes: --------------------------------------------------------------------
Nothing wrong with going to the sexpo at all. I'm an atheist and I still think horoscopes are a crock. I mean really? The distant influence of the planets telling me I shouldn't overspend. Der. That's just my opinion. And I have been told many times before that I am judgemental, so I'm trying to reform too.
You work at woollies eh? Glad to know you weren't included in those who go sacked.... [TheBlindArcher] 3/1/2004 11:21:43 PM
