Canada Day in Help Me Please

Today is suppose to be the celebration of when Canada was born in 1867 so we are 153 years young. But with the recent events that has been happening it doesn’t feel like Canada is such a great country. Like the government apologizing for the head tax when the Chinese were coming and the Japanese also and how we have treated the black people or anyone who didn’t originally come from Canada. And now the dead bodies that are being found on the grounds of the catholic church and the other churches that there was the indigenous children who were taken away from their families and then killed and buried on the property and they are just telling us about it now

I wonder if such atrocities happened in the USA.
I always sort of knew that the church were not good parents to the children let alone the nuns and there had to have been a lot of brain washing over time kind of like a cult.

A lot of business are going to be open today because they want to support the children that were found dead so some won’t be having fire works and even out fire works for tonight won’t be happening. But I think that is because of Covid. And we are now officially in phase 3 of the reopening and I think by the end of July the road boarders will be opened again because I think there will be enough people vaccinated. And we are almost up to 70% of at least one vaccine. But I think travel should still be restricted because there are still too many people in the world who are not vaccinated and travelling to these places and not knowing if you will get sick and die is something I will not do. The protocols will be a thing for a really long time and there will be countries who won’t let you visit because their numbers are just too high and too many people are dying. And this Delta plus variant is spreading really quickly B.C. has 1/3 of the cases already compared to the rest of the world and this is scary.
And there are some countries who won’t get their vaccines till North America sends them their left overs and that could be next year.

Today hubby wants to go do some grocery shopping and it’s 66 and cool so maybe today it will be the perfect weather and no heat wave? It would be really funny if it started to rain and then it would be absolutely perfect for me.
After we come back I am not sure what will be for dinner but I would like to get some ground beef and have hamburgers and French fries and carrots and celery and maybe ice cream after. Since I got this new to me fridge everything in the freezer is actually frozen like it’s suppose to be. the ice cream is so hard that hubby has to scoop it out. But it’s nice to have something that you can actually go get something and it hasn’t turned into a science experiment so something must be working properly.

So who is following the Stanly cup? Or are you waiting for Football to start? I think it will start next month well pre season anyways. I heard that the Canadian football won’t have a pre season because of the time wasted during Covid.

Onto something else....
I need to stop here my brain is just not concentrating and I need to get some things done before hubby wakes up.
