Cause For Alarm in Hello

First, the old super gets fired.

Second, the QC got (who came in way too many times noticeably messed up on drugs) got driven to the urgent care one night for an instant drug test. Fired.

Today one of the kids came in and quit.

We’re down to five people on second shift.

Still haven’t gotten any material to run more jobs. I’ve been put back on machine to run clamps since the kid is gone.

I know we’re way behind on jobs…but are we gonna end second shift or like what? I’m a bit apprehensive now.

Right now I’m debating if there is OT for Friday available, should I work? I owe the addiction therapist $300 before he’ll see me again. I’m ready to pull my head out of my ass again and focus on getting better. I hardly worked last week and my check will be short. Even at fifty hours I’ll bring home over $900, but my car payment will be due. Plus paying a bit to the other lawyer. I’ve got that down to $790.

Don’t break the law, it’s expensive.

Ugh…adulting.

Can I be like, eleven again? The only care I had was riding my bike through the neighborhood and reading Spider-Man and X-Men comics. I mean I still do read comics, but I used to, too.
