Life In The Slow Lane in Help Me Please

I think after about 50 people generally start to slow down and then that gives them a chance to enjoy life that much more because they don’t need to go anywhere fast and can actually stop and see what is around them. The only few things that we have to stop for is to pee, sleep and eat otherwise we can keep on going till we need to stop. Oh and maybe I need to add drinking too.

Why people are always in such a hurry to go nowhere fast is still something I think about. There is no reason to go that fast because then you just have to stop anyways and catch your breath. And it’s even harder to keep going when you have someone else telling you that you have only so much time to get things done. But that is only for 40 years of your life so there is a light at the end so maybe it’s not so bad?
It’s always too late when we realize just how much we have missed and there is no going back so this is why we just go slower.

Onto something else....

I learned something yesterday and that is that depending where your business head office is that is going to be the people who tell you when you can change the restrictions. Like hubby’s head office is in Australia and when the CEO of his company says the masks and protocols and restrictions can be changed or dropped that will be the day they say so. So just because we are going into phase to of our restrictions hubby is still in phase one so it’s going to be a while longer for him and his co-workers. And everyday he works he has to do a Covid survey so they know he isn’t sick or has any symptoms till they say that can stop also.

And also it’s okay to mix and match your vaccines because they are all the same and do the same thing to prevent you from getting sick and dyeing. I still can not understand why people won’t get their vaccines. The reasons they are coming up with just blows my brain and I am just shaking my head. And where are they getting this information? from Trump or Fox News? Because all the information I have gotten is from my top doctor and the minister for health and the Canadian medical web sites and they all say the same thing. Even my local news says the same things. I just wish everyone would get this vaccine then more people will enjoy life. They are soon going to be doing trials on the 12 and younger soon so everyone will get the vaccine. The best way to get this is at about 2 months of age when you get your first shots this one could be combined into one shot maybe? And I think it’s despicable that the governments have to bribe people to get their vaccines. Like Alberta is telling people if they get their vaccines and can prove they did they could win a trip to Mexico.
After next Monday I won’t have to worry about me getting my second vaccine and hopefully I will feel more comfortable going out in the real world and actually having a conversation with people I don’t know and maybe go to a restaurant and sit inside. And maybe go to the bar to play some pool and have a few drinks. The only person i really care about getting their second vaccine is my son but he won’t get his till July or August so after that he will be coming here to visit and eat. And it looks like I will be having a sort of birthday because I will have a choice of where to go and what to do and that will be nice. I also think my parents will want to take me and hubby out to dinner and my son too. And maybe my brother will have time to come also so that will be nice.

Well today is Friday and that means after tomorrow hubby’s weekend is here again and this weekend we are going to be running some errands and one of them is a haircut for him and he wants to get some new runners and maybe go to the fruit and vegetable store. I know we have a real exciting life but we like it but the best thing about my life is I get to share it with a select few people.

Onto something else....

Well it’s that time again where I need to stop and finish my coffee and start my day.
