The doctor finally called me about my tests. First the blood work. Elevated white count, not enough to worry about. Elevated blood calcium, indicating a problem with thyroid. Second blood draw confirmed. My PCP has been informed. Then the ultrasound: Some cysts in the liver. Also in kidney. Nothing to worry about. (Yeh, sure!!!) There are lots of stones in my gall bladder. Again, PCP informed. She mentioned surgery. And now, back to the reason I went to the Gastro in the first place...Colonoscopy coming up next Friday. I can hardly wait!
