The Currents of Space in book reviews

A precursor to the Foundation series, this seems to be the first book in the Gallactic Empire series. Now I have to scramble to get the rest of them.

Asimov's books are small, read fast. Although written over 50 years ago, they show glimmerings of a future that has come and one that is yet to be.

Earth is the "mother" planet, but has become radioactive, so man has conquered space. There are issues between castes, societies, and power struggles.

A space-man (one who travels in space) has noticed that a sun might go nova soon and destroy various planets. He tries to report this, but finds his brain fried to much as a result. The plot continues...
