So Much For Being Lazy in Hello

Well, I managed to leave the house today.

Mom and I made a day of it. First to Dollar Tree to get some fake flowers to put on granny and uncle’s graves. Then off to the cemetery itself. So weird to me, it used to be just the church and graveyard there and nothing else. Now there are SO many cookie cutter subdivisions it feels claustrophobic. Effin’ white people and their money.

After that was that Jones Valley Target shopping center. Browsed there a bit (and got a Leatherface action figure) then walked down to Five Below and loaded up on candy for work. Then off to Barnes & Noble to browse. I’ve not been in there since last year. The Covid hours suck and I’d usually be in there at least once a month. Got a twisted graphic novel in the humor section.

From there off to Publix where we loaded up on two ribeyes and veggies for skewers. Oh ya, got a container of crab salad that is delicious. Of course dinner was dry rubbed steak and a veggie medley. Whole mushrooms, zucchini and cherry tomatoes. The ‘maters on the grill were amazing! I’m not much of a ‘shroom or ‘mater guy but hot damn. They were tasty!

Now I’m kicking back. Return to work tomorrow. I’ve enjoyed my three day weekend. However, my right index finger has been bugging me for a week now. Feels like it’s asleep with a weird numbness/slight pain. I’m afraid of carpal tunnel or arthritis. I work with my hands a lot and that would hinder me bad.
