Happy Sixteenth Birthday Aaron! in In the Meadow

Happy Sixteenth Birthday Aaron! My baby boy is growing up. He has really blossomed into his own person this year, with his older brother and sister away at college. He has become quite serious about running. He prefers the middle distances. He is participating in the robotics club at school.

He is signed up for drivers ed this summer. He is very glad to now be old enough to start learning to drive. The DMV is in the process of opening back up. He is hoping to get his learners permit next month. He will have to pass a knowledge test first, so he will have to start studying for that.

He requested fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and broccoli for dinner. We have some surprises for him later.
