Freedom! in Bittersweet

Colorado Governor released the mask mandate on Friday. We had to wait till the gods of the retail world gave us the ok and today just after my lunch we got the ok to take them off. We were cheering and my managers even tossed them in the air haha. Customers were laughing with us. It was so nice to see their smiling faces! We pulled down our mask requirement signs. Some people are choosing to wear them and im fully in support of one doing what they feel safest doing! Im breaking out like a 12 year old but i took it off and i was just so dang happy. We were all giddy and laughing. One coworker said OMG YOU HAVE TEETH! It was so much laughing and fun! My last 2 hours were a blast because for the first time, we were able to breathe freely and smile and KNOW our customers were smiling.

We had 4 new kids start today. I did an hr of training with one of the kids going to tack. At some points we were joking. I told my manager D that the kids were aruging and she turns and shouts. KIDS LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER! SETTLE. Shes grandma and im the mom haha. It makes sense there. One of the yard kids made a comment that i mom, and one of the girls goes dude she IS a mom, She cant just turn it off. We were just having a really fun afternoon! I really am glad most of my coworkers are so enjoyable .

Baby birds are getting comfortable. They still wont willingly come to us. But they will get on us with the help of food and persistance.
They got a misting and are currently wet chickens :) Bath time is fun.

i wanted to share a photo of Krakens feathers. I love it!! They molt a few times before fully growing in adult colors but look at the start of his blue!

and siren nee cthulu has green/yellow tinge on the wings and head!
