Sammy's future and the shitty AC in my house in Second 1st

Sammy hasn’t really been here. He stopped by one day, came in with 2 friends and told us that he’d gotten his tires checked out, he needed 2 before his trip and didn’t really have the money for it. He does though because as planned he saved his stimulus check for this trip. Rocky talked to him about where and how much.... he called later freaking out about how to put a tire on a rim and “could Rocky help?”.... This is a product of his raising.... no male in the home and a parent who want him to need her.

Destiny called yesterday morning. She’s not been sleeping well because her Grandma has been in the hospital. She’s out now but it’s been nerve racking. We all want her to make it to Desstiny’s wedding next June. I think it’s amazing that we are 40 and she’s still here. (I lost all my grandparents before I was 10.)

I was extremely overwhelmed yesterday and really almost had a breakdown. Our AC went out and the idea of having to pay for repairs ..... I feel a restriction in my chest just thinking about it this morning and the hard part is already over.....

So, Rocky called around Thursday night after proving to me that the AC was about to be a horrible issue. It’s about to be in the 90’s here.... been up to 80’s the last couple days.... He’d made 2 calls and actually got someone scheduled to come take a look Friday at 3.

Yesterday we had physicals at our general care Doc that I’d forgotten about.... we had to fast for blood work.... Stayed up as late as I could Thursday and slept as late as I could.... woke with a horrible migraine, dizzy, nausea..... was a blast. After getting stuck and having blood drawn we got food.

Rocky had been talking about going to Sushi Train in Nashville for a week so I decided we’d go there. After he’d weighed himself sometime during this week we’d decided that buffets are off limits for the next 3 months as we are both now 300+lbs :(

Right so that brings me back to eating at Sonic last night to avoid heating up the house because of the AC and him saying no eating out for then next 3 months. To save the money and weight.... k.

So.... the guy had come to look at the unit. This AC unit is from 1994. They don’t make the freon for that anymore. The guy talked about it not being cost effective and .... of course he did but we already knew we were going to need a new unit.... we’d looked at it when we’d bought the house with a larger company out of Nashville. They’d quoted us 8,000 on a new unit and it’s on the list of things we need to get done.... but with Rocky still not working.....

The current unit has a leak. If we filled it we’d end up having to pay a good $700 and still need a new unit next year as all the freon, if not used would leak out through winter..... SO..... he quoted us 6,100 on a new unit and we did it. I signed another $150 a month away..... now I have to figure out where that’s going to come from. On the plus side it’s 18 months same as cash. Unfortunately that puts the pipe loan on hold (minimum payments) until this one is paid off because interest and all that after 18 months.... so we need to pay it off before then.

Todd was here when the AC guy was.... he’d decided that it was time to mow our lawn..... luckily it wasn’t a paying week ....

It was 75 in my house for the evening..... 68 this morning....

AC guy is going to bring a window unit over to cool down the bedroom till he can get out here Tuesday to put in the new unit. It’s supposed to be 86 today.... 91 Monday.... so I’ll be happy that we will at least have a comfortable bedroom.

Sammy will be by today to pick up a couple more things .... I think he’s leaving for Sandusky, Ohio after that. He starts Monday at Cedar Point. Which reminds me.....This semester MTSU has a new class. They guy who built and used the tech to do this video donated a set of equipment to MTSU to teach the next lighting techs. THIS is all done with LED lights! OMG guys watch it. This is what Sammy will be doing with his life.... making the bit bucks! Amazing!

So.... I haven’t been working on MTurk.... and now I”m wasting time thinking about what else to write when I should be trying to earn that AC money.... things will be so much easier when Rocky goes back to work.... sigh
