May expenses: Food $111.25, transportation $0.

Accumulated miles on the scooter to date: 102. I couldn’t be happier with it. I’ve had to charge it twice since the initial charge. And there is 53% in the battery right now.

I’ve disbursed all the cash from Mom’s estate. My sister’s three kids have all cashed the last round of checks I’d sent. All that is left is the property, the trailer and what remains in the trailer. Hopefully everyone will let me stay here until I find out what to do, where to go, what I want to be when I grow up.

I finished reading “If It Bleeds” by Stephen King. When I returned it to the library I found a new Dean Koontz and a new John Grisham and found out later that I’m two books behind for both those authors.

I’m still working on that quarter ounce of weed I bought months ago. I did buy a bong from dailyhighclub.com. A sweet little glass piece. It was the cheapest piece they had. And on sale. Free shipping.

We’ve already had eight days over 100 degrees so far this year. Much mellower than last year by this time. There are only three big fires burning in the state. No significant rain in two years.

The landline has finally stopped ringing so much. They ask for Mom by her first name. I say quickly “_____ is deceased.” And hang up. The junk mail has also slowed considerably. I’m saving it all in Mom’s chair. The pile is about two feet high now.

I didn’t do my “one load of wash a month on the last day of the month” routine yesterday. There wasn’t enough for a load- A pair of gym shorts, a T-shirt, a few washcloths, a bath towel, a handkerchief, and one of my two cloth facemasks. Yeah, easy livin’ here. All that can just lie in front of the washer for another month.

Looking at my past grocery orders it would seem, and be a truth, that I’m not eating too healthy. As an experiment I’d like to hire a true vegan cook. Maybe I can find a homeless one who could do the job for room and board. I’ve got a whole empty house and the A/C is already on. Oh, as an added incentive, I’ve got a pool, hot tub and other amenities.

I’ve just ordered another $60 worth of groceries from Instacart. Alejandro M is shopping right now. Should arrive shortly.

I need to buy an eight foot extension ladder and a cheap electric powered power washer to wash everything outside. Mom always hired it out, but for the cost of two visits I could buy the equipment and do it myself. I’ll put it on the list.

Fifty-two volcanoes erupting on the planet currently. I guess that’s what happens when you stop sacrificing virgins?

Be well my friends!
