Pet thought's ... in The odd entries from life …….

Watching Ziggy and Lola at agility, and listening to what people say and also what they say to others, I can stand back and see our dog’s as others do. Ziggy is fun and excitement; greeting others in his own enthusiastic way, while Lola is almost reserved, a cute little Westie who meets other dogs nose to nose, if she was French it would be one kiss on just one cheek; none of this nonsense kissing both cheeks twice. Lola likes to get on and you could see it in her, as we waited for the competitions to start.

When the Judge took her lead to see if she was the dog he would like to take home, she didn’t think much of going off with a stranger, I think Ziggy would think after! While Ziggy had fun on the agility course, Lola set off with an eye to get round fast with out missing a jump; and see got round with out fault! If Ziggy was taking notice I suspect he would think ‘swot’

Our other rear seat driver, just after Ziggy has gone walkies with my daughter, she’s not very happy!

Once Ziggy is out of sight Lola is transferred, on retuning Ziggy goes into the back, Lola finding herself in the front seats she picks-up, first sitting there thinking ‘about time’ then looks at me ‘when do we start walking’ Once she realizes I’m just the driver she has a look at the window ‘now – how do you open this ….’

Once Ziggy is back in his back seat driver position, we go though the completes with him as Lola trots away ….

While I’m back at home I’m still painting Poppies, I’ve had one on the go for a few day’s, I finished it this morning! I work on a painting for a day or three, then I feel it needs something, after some thinking I thought ‘brambles’ So I painted in some brambles in among the grass and weeds, stood back a moment; and I knew it was finished.

Lately I’ve be finishing two watercolours a week, well this last week, and I have a idea or two to keep me going …..
