18 cases.... in Help Me Please

Vancouver’s hockey team has 18 cases of Covid and also the variant and this is from the professionals who do everything right, or do they? How did so many people get the virus in such a short time? and will the season get to finish and how far behind will they be?
All the people who think fans should be in the stands this is what happens but fortunately for us Vancouverites there are no community spread cases nor are there any one else sicker then a dog and in the hospital with a tube down their throat wondering if they will live till tomorrow?
All the states that have opened up and made life “normal” just look at how many more cases have come…more then 1000 a day for each state and it looks like getting the vaccine is going to make things worse unless we follow all the protocols till the top doctors says it’s safe to live life again.
And these variants make you sicker and you will have worse complications for the rest of your life. This is something that I am going to avoid like the plague and I will do everything in my power to keep everyone away from me and I will be wearing my mask everywhere like the law says.

The thing is it’s like what the top doctor says here in B.C. Yes these restrictions are necessary and peoples lives are at stake but it’s only for now because tomorrow we will have those who we actually care about to celebrate the next holiday or party and that is way better then having to go to the funeral and say good bye forever. Just think how many lives you have saved by staying home and not travelling. Plus all the people who could have been exposed that you don’t even know. For every one person you expose that person exposes two more and those are high numbers by the time all the sick and dead are counted and who’s fault is that? We all get blamed because it’s always someone we know who did this because they are just selfish people who want to live life. well you can’t live life if you are dead now can you?
I know by the time the end of summer comes everyone in Canada will have had at least their first shot and then the restrictions will slowly be lifted.
You remember that Beer strike they had in 1981? how did that go? “I survived the beer strike and we will survive this too.
Anyways…this really sucks and I don’t like not going to my favorite places but I know it’s not for too much longer and it’s way better then the alternative.

So just stay home and be safe. And no i don’t want your germs....maybe another day.
