Vaca day 1 in Second 1st

It’s officially the first day of my vacation. Listed 5 items this morning while working on MTurk and playing Stream Raiders.... Then made a trip out to play Orna because Rocky is a few levels ahead of me now somehow. Played for a bit ..... got messages about a meet. It was a baffling situation but we managed to meet. In the end I walked away one item down and feeling like I should be wildly angry.....

She’d claimed age as an excuse to not know things. “I don’t live here, I’m from Florida.” However, she “has GPS in her truck”.... she made things much more difficult then they needed to be. In the end she tried to explain misunderstandings away as Ï’m old”.... said something about hitting her head .... I said “It’s no big deal really I understand brain fog, I have Meniere’s disease”.... she required a brief account of what that was and insisted on writing it down. Here’s why I should have gotten angry she said “I need to know how to spell it so I can claim I have that when I do stupid things”..... .... ..... moving on.

Got back from that and immediately left to take my car to the car guy. Rocky was able to get ahold of him. Turns out he’s working at someone else’s shop right now. I have no doubt that is COVID related do to lack of work. We wrote out a short paper about what’s going on for him to look at and left my car.... keys in the drop box.

I’d mentioned wanting to go for coffee at a specific place sometime while on vacation so we went there on the way back. I honestly didn’t mean 1st day but I’ll take what I get. Also, if first day then maybe also next Friday? :) maybe.... or when we go to get my car I’ll just make a detour all my own if I’m so inclined.....

I seized a thumb drive from this pallet. It’s 1TB. which is just as big as the external hard drive I have all my music on. I picked a few songs I’ve been missing and listened to those in my car on the way down. Rocky doesn’t have a USB drive on his radio :( . I look forward to getting my freedom back already (my car back). Not that I can’t just take off in his car if I want to but I don’t like his car.... it’s just not comfortable for me. I’d drive it if I had to but I don’t want to.

Just after we’d dropped off my car I messaged William to remind him of dinner..... and just before we got coffee he said that he wouldn’t make it “let’s shoot for next Thursday”..... I’m disappointed.... just wanted to chit chat.... I’ll get over it. Also, Mexican food.... I wanted some nachos.

Got back to our area and went to GameStop. Rocky’s decided on the new Xbox system but now it looks like he’ll have trouble getting his hands on one.....

I picked up a used game to play. Charging the Switch lite now. Rocky got a Call of Duty game he’s updating now.... so the rest of the day at least will be video games.... at least for a couple hours.... kinda wanna get nachos still :(

I would say similar plans for tomorrow but honestly I think the only thing currently planned it Listing stuff in the morning, MTurk..... then I have a meet at 4:15pm. I guess we should go get vacation groceries.... which are different than work groceries of course.
