More pregnancy insomnia last night. sigh. at least I did manage to get a few hours though. I let Cannon and myself seep in until 10.45 today (I normally get us up at 9.30 no matter what time we went to bed). I drank a cup of regular coffee andI still feel really tired. I wish I didn't need sleep, I'd get way more done.

Cannon's favorite part of the day is when we sing songs and today I introduced the weather song. it's to the tune of London Bridge and the words are "what's the weather like today, like today, like today? what's the weather like today, [kid's name] will you please tell us?" Then we went to the door, opened it, and I explained that I was raining. he just loved it! I don't know why I never thought to do it before. normally we sing abc's and wheels on the bus and whatnot. we also have a morning song that I got from a kids' channel from when I nannied years ago.

I wish we had a covered porch. then I could sit outside when the weather is nice and read a book while Cannon plays. our back yard doesn't have a covered area and the gate is broken so I can't sit out there unless my full attention is on him.

Yesterday Lorelei hardly moved at all until I decided to go to bed. then she kept me up with barrel rolls and ninja kicks. troll baby.

You know what is odd? I hate, hate cleaning. mostly is puts me in bad moods. But I do like the end result because I cannot stand living in a house that isn't clean. I just wish it wasn't such a double edged sword for me! I really wish I liked it.
