My Wife has caught covid. It is NOT like her at all to be bed-ridden. If I were in better health, I would run to her aid. Tea, soup, and another blanket. I checked my temperature while chatting with her. (Distance communication.)
97.2F
Temperature-wise, I feel fine. Don’t feel hot, don’t feel cold. But, my thermometer won’t lie.
I immediately started pacing to raise my body temperature. And.
I am now wearing… Well, knickers are implied. Pajama pants, socks, slippers. Wife-beater, long-sleeve pajama shirt. A hoodie. A red beanie on my head. And fingerless gloves that I typically reserve for driving. AND my pink blanket draped over my shoulders. Don’t care how ridiculous I look.
Got myself up to 97.7F.
Sore throat has passed. Breathing is only an issue if I think about it. Otherwise, I don’t sense any lung or obstructive breathing problems. Snotty nose seems to have receded for the moment. Mentally, still clearly here, as I am still writing. Elimination activities are healthy. No physical pain.
Latest check just now is.... 36.6C. Con sarnit, accidentally put the thermometer in Canadian Mode. Roughly 97.9F.
Oh, and tonight’s Feature Presentation will be GalaxyQuest. And I have some new hot sauce to sample. I can handle red chili peppers and habanero peppers - germs won’t know what hit them.
Never give up. Never surrender.
PS: Now at 98.2F. (Got my thermometer out of Canadian Mode. Canada, I love you and your metric system, but it is not quite precise for human bodily assessment at times.)
