Good morning, sunshine! in A day in the life...

Okay, so it's not exactly sunny out, but guess what? I was up by 9 a.m. today!!! I know some of you get up WAY before that, but being as my sleep schedule is a mess and I usually sleep until noon or later, 9 a.m. is phenomenal for me. I've checked my sugar (174 - not that great but at least it's way lower than 548!), took my shots and meds, and had breakfast (yogurt, scrambled eggs, and gluten-free toast). Now I'm writing an entry for you fine folks...lol.

In a couple of hours I'm going to my friend Mary's house to listen to the third CD in the Joyce Meyer's series. I'm not going to stay long after that. I want to get home and get the kitchen cleaned up and get some laundry started before getting dressed and ready to go to the gym when hubby gets home.

So Carly paid me $80 for keeping Ben from 7:30 a.m. on Saturday to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. Some people think that wasn't enough, but as far as I'm concerned it was fine. Carly's a single mom of two boys who goes to school and works full time, and only gets child support sporadically. Zander, her oldest boy, stays with his dad on the weekends. Ben's dad is a real freaking douchebag and won't keep Ben on the weekends or do anything at all to help Carly out, so I keep Ben and only charge her $5 an hour, sometimes less if she had a slow day at work and didn't get much in tips.

I'm going to call Ford Credit today and see if they can help me out. If I tell them I'm not working right now but will be going back soon, maybe they'll let me defer a car payment or two and tack them onto the end of my payment schedule. They might, they might not, but it doesn't hurt to ask. The worst they can do is say no.

I noticed that all the back and forth comments the racist and I exchanged have disappeared. She must've blocked me. Darn....I'm so hurt...lol. Either that or she deleted the entire post, which is entirely possible since she probably got a lot of not so nice feedback from it. Don't know, don't care.

I've noticed lately that after jogging/running, my feet feel like they're on fire. My running shoes look brand new on the outside, but when you look at the inside of them you can tell they've been used hard because they are completely worn out on the inside. So I guess it's time for a new pair...-sigh- The thing that sucks about that is that good running shoes are not cheap, and I want a pair of good ones. I'm going to see if maybe I can get some insoles for them, but I don't know if I'll be able to get my feet in them if they have insoles in them. Maybe when I get to San Diego I'll ask my son to buy me a pair for an early birthday present...lol. Anyway, I'll have to use the shoes I have now for at least a month longer, so I'll probably start using the elliptical machine more. As long as I'm getting some exercise and burning calories, it's all good.

My cousin Paige got the lead role in a movie!! It'll be shown at the Sundance Film Festival. It may never make it to the big screen, but it'll at least make it to video. It's a psychological horror film called Nightmares. How freaking cool is that??? If anyone can make it as an actress, it's Paige. She definitely has the personality, she can act, and she's got a bit of drama queen in her...lol.

Okay, time to get off my butt. I need to run an errand before heading to Mary's, so I gotta brush my teefs, put in my eyes and get dressed.

I hope you all have a lovely day!! Much love...xoxo

P.S. Just got off the phone with Ford and they're letting me defer payments until June.....WOO HOO!!!!
