Considering I just spent one...

First problem... I left the house with enough time to make it downtown on the subway... actually with time to spare. I am getting back into the use of the iron worm...NO SERVICE!!!!

Then no bus... so I had to take a cab! Yikes - $25!!!! to get down to the theater district; there goes my discount on the theater ticket. I worked on Friday, so since where I work is across the street from the discount ticket booth, I try to get a ticket for a Broadway show... I prefer matinees, so it worked out perfectly.

The show was wonderful, amazing. I recommend it to all. My mother loved Billie Holliday, so I grew up hearing her music.

I walked for a bit before getting on the bus to come home, stopped at CVS and got cat food AND chocolate. Well, I wasn't going to get chocolate, but I got a $2 off a $6 purchase, and one of my favorite candies was on sale for 2 bags for $6. Originally each bag was over $7.50, and I got both for less than $4.50. I consider that a bargain.

I waited a LONG time for the first bus, then got off to transfer buses, stopped for dinner, then waited again... over 40 minutes!! Ah, the joys of public transit... NOT!
