Easter time is coming! in My this and that

Today I am so thankful for my wonderful husband.

Today I feel like I miss my husband. I didn't see him at all yesterday, perhaps that is why.

Tonight after work I'm heading to the Humane Society to pick up a foster kitty. Apparently he is six weeks old and orange, that's all I know. If he doesn't have a good name yet I'm thinking Herbert... but we'll see what Ben says... we like to come up with names together.

Easter is fast approaching. Lent had felt long this year, and my longing for popcorn seems endless. I don't know if I properly utilized lent this year in the way it could have been. I'll have to contemplate that and improve for next year.

Also, since Easter is coming, I have to decide what to make for Easter dinner. My family does potluck style. So fun, but also stressful because I'm terrible in the kitchen and I never feel that anything I make is good enough. NEVER up to par with my cousins or aunts, that's for sure. But oh well...
