Reclamation. in Whey and Sonic Screwdrivers.

Previous entry got me thinking about Open Diary. It HAS been back online for a number of years, but the sting hasn’t left me. Even if I “could” go back, I tend to only write in one spot. When I was on LJ, it was mostly crossposting. My motivation is to see if there’s anybody I can connect others with. Or if there’s anyone wonder “Where’s Timmy?” Never know.

I went through all my active emails, and one that’s totally inactive. (polloloco1701@yahoo No, seriously, that was my first email.) I found a side OD that I’d forgotten about. (All entries and notes intact.) Geez, that writing is depressing. Then again, rereading some random entries from my prime Timmy™ OD archive, HOLY HELL I’M CONSTANTLY DEPRESSED.

I digress.

Anyway, something I’d forgotten about. My last entry in my OD archive was about a week after Candi and I split. Talk about a double-whammy. Lost my fiancee, and then lost my primary online social network.

The only other thing I remember Candi destroying was a whiteboard on the fridge that said something like “I love you, Stinkie!” (I wasn’t there when his happened.) She left the destroyed engagement ring on Daisy, my recliner, right where I’d find it. Otherwise, she did not destroy anything else nor harm the fuzzbuckets. Seems like a reasonable outlet of rage to me.

I did send a message to the squirrels that currently run OD. I included the headers of two entries from back in 2003. But more importantly, I included a copy of my very last posted entry, which has a link to this PB.

As an aside, I’m partially motivated because I’m among the few that took the “lifetime membership” option. Given when I plunked down, it actually ended up being more cost-effective.

We’ll see what happens. One does not simply forget a Timmy.

PS: As I have my authorcode memorized, I just noticed what my “box#” for PB is.
