The woods were quiet. The kind of perfect stillness that promises everything has seen you and is watching, waiting to see what you do in their home. I looked around the clearing, bathed in sunlight and protected by ancient oaks that swayed in the warm breeze, an ideal summer day with the promise of fall on the horizon. Yet nothing stirred.
Rumors of his presence were rooted here, a place of growth. A place where wolves stopped hounding the hart and rabbits resisted with the lynx. Bees swayed on flowering poppies, buzzing drunkenly in the air. Ladybugs climbed on wild carrots and grasshoppers lept from plant to plant. A praying mantis turned her head slowly to watch the lazy world.
I smiled at the small life that suddenly was obvious around me. In the middle of the clearing was a large, flat rock, heated and inviting in the sun. I sat on the edge, the heat seeping into my naked skin. My hand slid over the rock until I leaned back, letting myself lie on the old rock, fingers tracing ancient carvings.
Time slowed as I closed my eyes, lulled to sleep by the warmth of the sun caressing my skin. The wind whispered through the clearing, rustling leaves and gently blowing the bees as they moved through the flowers, bringing a sweet fragrance with it.
A soft sensation touched my body, the wind tickling my bare skin and playing with the strands of my hair. My eyes slid open as I felt tiny legs crawling over my body as dozens of the bugs and beetles of the clearing settled on top of me. My skin vibrated from the sensation of the creatures’ exploration.
My lips released a small gasp as the insects climbed the peak of my breasts, sending the softest teasing sensations through me. A rough tongue licked my leg, moving upwards. I lifted my head to look down at the lynx, tufted ears peaking above the rock before they lept up beside me. Their head bent, sniffing my body before their tongue lapped at my thigh.
A rabbit nuzzled into my side, scaring beetles away. Its soft fur brought gooseflesh to my skin, sending a shiver through me. My hand caressed it before I cried out when the lynx bent their head to lap at the sensitive skin between my thighs. Fingers ran through their rough fur, avoiding the impulse to pull them into me.
I turned my head to look around the clearing, suddenly alive with the animals of the wood. A wolf padded towards me, haunting eyes focused. He jumped up without hesitating, snout touching my face as he inhaled my scent.
“Well, hello,” I managed to murmur between moans. His wet, smooth tongue teased my nipple, then the other before he bit down lightly and playfully. A cry escaped my lips, and the lynx sped up, somehow lapping faster. The rough surface of her tongue hurt and felt incredible at the same time.
The lynx shifted, her tongue moving up my body as the wolf switched with her, licking my body everywhere they could. “Please,” I whispered to them. Pressure built inside of me, each lick and touch driving a wild need into my body. The wolf’s tongue pressed deep, invading my opening with renewed eagerness.
I whimpered as the wolf lifted his head, glancing to the treeline. The lynx jumped down, disappearing into the weeds and grass. From the shadows of the woods, he arrived, great antlers arching from his cervine face.
The animals in the clearing stilled, bowing to him as he moved through, giant and timeless. Stag antlers rose above him, leading to a deer’s face with haunting human eyes. In his hand, he carried a torque while a snake wound about his other arm.
I rose on my elbows as the wolf lowered his head in reverence to the horned god. Cernunnos reached his hand to touch my face, trailing down to my throat. I moved to kneel before him on the rock. The hand dropped lower, grasping my breast in his great hand, rolling my nipple between his fingers. I whimpered. “I come in supplication.”
He almost smiled, human and cervine features showing amusement at my gasped words. Fur ran down his body, over his legs, and to satyr-like feet. He tugged, pulling me forward so that I was on all fours on his altar. Fingers wove into my hair as he guided me to his erection, thin point leading to thick, long hardness.
My tongue tasted him, earth and wildness before he thrust his hips and pushed into my mouth, invading my throat with his length. I moaned, a new frenzied hunger settling into my body. The god gave the briefest of nods to the wolf behind me before his hips began to move, sliding his intense length in and out of my mouth and throat, saliva dripping out of me with each stroke.
The wolf mounted me, legs holding my hips before he slid inside of my opening. His hips thrust rapidly, pushing me into the god’s hunger. Their hips moved in unison, using my body between them, filling me with their engorged lengths. Moans were muffled by the god’s hardness as I swallowed him.
He pulled out of me, watching as his wolf continued to thrust, a knowing smirk on his lips. He walked around the altar, hand still holding my hair, before the wolf pulled himself from me, panting. Cernunnos took a tighter hold on my hair, pulling my head back. “Are you ready?” he asked in a husky voice.
Around us his dominion watched, the deer and wolves, the lynx and rabbit. They waited for me to speak, body poised, and eager. The grass waved, vines grew, creeping over his altar and winding up my arms and hips, holding me in place for his use. I swallowed his taste. “Yes. Give me your seed. Breed me,” I moaned, waiting for his gift.
The god pushed into me, hard and fast, his rhythm naturally wild and animalistic. He grunted, lowering his head, antlers raking my body as he slammed into me, again and again. One hand closed around my throat, pulling me by hair and neck into his hardness, rough and hungered thrusts filling me.
Pain and pleasure flooded my body as he rode me. The animals around us joined him, breeding each other in a celebration of life. With a strange unearthly sound, he erupted inside of me, spilling his rich seed into my waiting body. I shuddered, sagging against him, my body trembling from his force.
He slid in and out, slowing his rhythm. The vines released me and he held me against his chest, my back pressed against him. One great hand slid down my body, pressing against my pelvis. Within me, his seed took root, filling me with future life. His lips brushed my ear, “Thank you for your offering, mother.”
