his parents.
The long and short of it was; You Are Wrong for having any concerns. We love you but you can’t Judge people. So we’re going to not talk about it and Judge you until you agree with us.

I forwarded the email to DH and then told him what I thought about it. I asked him what he thought and he responded with a sentence.
I wrote a reply email with all my thoughts and sent it to DH. I told him about it and asked him what he thought. But he didn’t read it.
He came home late and I asked if he’d read it. He didn’t. Then he whipped out his phone and was on his phone all night. I tried a handful of times to invite him to participate in a conversation about his parents and their abysmal behavior since our son was born.
I wanted to know what he thought. How does he feel about it? I mean, gods, he’s got to have some reasonably strong feelings. Their his parents!
He basically ignored me all evening until about 10pm when I finally complained that he’d been on his phone all night. Then he said he was going to bed.

I am hurt and saddened and that he would treat me this way.

Especially in the bigger scheme of things. He committed to working less, being home more, and working on our relationship this year.
Yet the VERY FIRST DAY working this year, he does this.
I feel like it’s a shit test. A really shitty shit test.
I am terrified that he thinks this is a battle about what I want vs what he wants. When it’s a battle for the relationship at all. It’s a battle for his son to have a father.
