We did quite a few Christmas cruises. This photograph is from the Oosterdam which year we went I cannot remember. I’ve haphazardly saved all the Christmas photographs but cannot find the Oosterdam photos. Boy, we did party every December. The Automotive Museum and the Cancer Society Thrift store. Everyone dressed in their best having fun.

We did family gatherings. Year after year there are pictures of Duck and Dart. The children grow then go away. Grandkids grow even faster. There was one year that all but two of the 14 grandkids came to dinner.

I miss all this fuss. I do. I miss the friends that have moved away or died. In our new world all is quiet. The museum is closed. The store is open but I’m not there. The grandkids are in their own homes. Some, I know not where, and one in Spain. We will make it a kind year. Just us. Maybe a little Zoom with friends still with us. That ought to be delightful.
