St Paddy's 2014 in Roundtrip Ticket to Paradise 2

... That would be today. Went to the Big I Bar (right side of the image at http://www.newsminer.com/arctic_cam/ ) a little while ago for their St Paddy's dinner, which turned out to be quite good - not overseasoned, as it was catered by a professional caterer and was available at extra cost ($12/plate). Time was bars would offer free food, but oversalt it so as to drum up additional beverage sales. In my case, I had a 7-up with, as I'm headed in to work here shortly. Hopefully it will be a good shift, as there is both St Paddy's and the Arctic Winter Games happening.

It's also my mother's birthday; I wished her a happy one and reminded her not to drink too much green beer. (Joke there is that although she is 100% Danish by blood and the Danes are known for their beer consumption, she loathes beer! grin)
