I never can sleep in no matter how late I go to bed.

So the next items up for bid in my happenings…

There have been several deaths. Last Friday, there was a funeral for one of our family’s longtime friends who was considered family. We call her Tee. She had COVID. I wasn’t able to go but I watched on live stream thanks to my stepmom. Tee, for a time raised my brother’s two girls and looked after him as much as anyone could. I’ve since learned that a few more people, those who were at Tee’s service have died.

On mom’s side, brother and sister cousins who are not speaking to each other have contracted it. Big Dog and his fiance, well I think just her. Bug Dog had a fight with a tree and a ladder and broke his leg and ankle. Seeing him on Facebook reminds me of myself. He is a jokester and he speaks, but mostly he is in his head and doesn’t talk a lot. Seeing him express himself and who he is gives me more depth into him. Growing up he was my favorite cousin. He was my big brother for real.

I got to visit with my mom on the 5th. I’m glad it was a good day for it. I took my son with me since we were both off work. It was a 30 minute visit and I was really wishing it longer. But for now, I get to still talk to her on the phone and drop her off random stuff that she needs.

Got all my doctor appointments scheduled and the way time flies, it seems they are all back to back. Had my mammogram and I have to go in and do another scan of my right boob. I have a colonoscopy and upper GI scheduled for next month with another appointment for an ultrasound the next day.

Context…

I went to my regular doctor for a follow up after my initial appointment. She wanted me to go to the vaginacologist to see if they could determine the spotting in between periods. I was always under the impression that I was anemic, but she seems to be concerned that I do have blood loss somewhere. I didn’t start feeling run down for real until after my appointments. I feel better though. I was prescribed a medication for pre diabetes. I haven’t taken iron consistantly anyway. So anyway, when scheduling the colonoscopy, they decided to go down my throat too, so I’ll be double plugged.

At the vaginacologist this week, they did an endometrial biopsy. She took a sample of tissue from my uterus to check for abnormal cells and such. I took a picture of the specimen when they left the room. LOL Because I’m a child. She gave me a “pad” which was really a panty liner. I was like have you seen the size of my panties?? This is like putting a tiny band aid on a buckshot wound. I think the bleeding has finally subsided from that. I first got the regular pap. She had a student Doogie Howser shadowing her and was creepy in the corner. Lol I have a follow up ultrasound to get a good look at what’s going on in my uterus. So that is that.

I had vacation days, but have had to reschedule to accommodate my appointments. I wasn’t going to do them back to back but why not.

All of this is expensive. OB/GYN is now considered a specialist so that was $50 I literally did not have AND I had to pay to get out if the lot. They gave parking tickets for half off. Running such a racket.

And that’s all I got. I want to stay in bed, but i have food to buy for Thanksgiving and items to drop off to mommie. I need to clean my house, buy scents to make it smell better than it has been as of late. Clear out and declutter again. Wash clothes. My work is never done.

So, with that said, I wish you all good morning.
Peace, blessings, love and light to you and your loved ones. Be safe.

Kindest regards,
Sister
