8 - Discuss a moment you were satisfied with your life

Oh man, there’s been plenty, that’s why I write here - to remember the good times.

But what sticks out is my international travel I’ve done. Three overseas trips (twice to Europe, once to China). For me, there’s nothing like it. It’s like a body-reset, immersing myself into another country’s culture. Especially so when I’ve barely known a word of the language. Hooking up with a hot Spanish guy (with a gorgeous cat would kept jumping up on the bed) in Madrid when neither of us could understand each other and using Google translate to communicate, to equally hot experiences with guys in Amsterdam, Zurich, London and Paris. My God. I’ve been watching ‘Emily In Paris’ on Netflix and remembering being at a lot of those sights. It’s from the perspective of an American girl and I realise the French don’t really like Americans but they love Australians, so I didn’t find them rude at all.
And I got to go to Eurovision in Portugal (both the semi-final AND the final) and see the world’s biggest waves crash in Nazaré - I did a video there because it was amazing.
Even seeing the giant Pandas and the Great Wall in China was amazing, as difficult as most of that trip was.
It just sucks CoVid has put such a halt on international travel.
