October Update in In the Meadow

Aaron did the Halloween decorating this year. He did a nice job. He carved several pumpkins and put up the scarecrows and ghosts. He has been doing cross-country. This year they are trying to minimize travel. It has meant they are having meets with their traditional rivals, which has been fun. He has improved a lot this year. His times are much better and he feels like he runs better on hills. He took the PSATs recently.

Kayla and Timmy have completed midterms at college. They have joined several clubs at school. For the most part they are having a good time. As planned, they are coming back right before Thanksgiving and will finish the rest of the semester virtually.

Work is very busy right now. We were only doing essential business until mid-summer. Now that things are ramping up again everything has to be done at once. Most of it is virtual, although I have gone to work in person for the past three Fridays.

Today was blustery and cold. There is a stretch of warm days coming up. It should be good for getting outside and bike riding.
