Bad Kitty in My this and that

Today I am thankful for a relaxing weekend. I'm always thankful for that ;)

So as I was brushing my teeth this morning, Jake the cat decided to treat himself to a snack of bread straight from my lunch bag! At first he looked really guilty, and then when I finally figured out WHY he looked guilty I couldn't find him anywhere.

Needless to say I had to discipline that boy. He sure didn't like it, and later as I sat there putting on my boots, and getting ready to leave he laid on the couch and stared at me. His eyes never leaving me. I don't know what he was trying to convey with that stare, but I decided to just stare right back. He couldn't handle it, and I won.

I petted him a bit before I left, to let him know that even though I disciplined him, I still loved him. I hope it helped.

And now I feel weird about it... like what is he thinking? Is he mad that I disciplined him? Is he destroying all of my stuff at home to get back at me? Will he want me to pet him when I get home?

And this is probably why it's best I don't have real children.
