Spring Break in In the Meadow

It's been a while since I wrote here. This past week has been spring break for the kids. They go back to school tomorrow.

We went to the Easter party at our church. There were snacks and pictures with the Easter Bunny. This will most likely be the last year the twins will want to do the Easter things. The kids have never really been that into Easter, so it won't be that much of a transition. My mom still made me Easter baskets through high school, and I still love Cadbury Cream Eggs.

On Easter Sunday the kids wore their dress-up clothes. We went to church and then to have brunch with my parents and grandparents. We went to the park in the afternoon. The weather was sunny and warm, a perfect spring day. The weather was nice for most of the break. We went to the park. The kids rode their bikes quite a bit. We also took a walk at the beach, although it is still much too cold for swimming.

We went miniature golfing a few times. Kayla got a hole in one, which she was very proud of. There is an indoor miniature golf course that we went to on cool days and an outdoor one for warmer days.
